The Bishop Arts Loft
Industrial, Warm, Authentic
Design Language
Exposed brick walls frame floor-to-ceiling windows that flood this Bishop Arts loft with Texas light. Original steel beams overhead, concrete floors softened by vintage rugs, and a curated collection of local art create a space that feels both raw and refined. The open plan flows naturally from living to sleeping areas, with a chef's kitchen anchored by a massive oak island. Every material—the linen curtains, the leather seating, the brass fixtures—was chosen to age beautifully. This is Dallas design at its finest: confident, unpretentious, and deeply rooted in craft.
The Ritual
Saturday mornings call for a walk to Emporium Pies, then coffee on the private rooftop terrace as the neighborhood wakes up below.
"I wanted to create a space that honors the building's history while feeling completely livable. Every piece here has a story."— Sarah Mitchell
